Snow 2009!
March 2, 2009
We had a blast in the snow/slush on Sunday! I braved the weather and took my camera outside for just a moment, under an umbrella of course.
I hear that my particular camera is weather-sealed, but I was not gonna take any chances!
This years’ snow event was not quite as fluffy-nice as last years’ event, so it didn’t take long to get the boys inside by saying the words “hot” and “chocolate”
We enjoyed the day off from school today and are looking forward to getting back to our normal routine tomorrow.
At least I am anyway!

The slide is killing me with a yellow color cast, but to have the two of them pose together (somewhat) without trying to strangle one another is a small miracle.
Pictures for the Cowgirls should be here tomorrow. I will package them up and send everything with Gena for Saturday. Thanks so much for letting me come out and visit you guys,
There are some action shots in your gallery—and an Animoto video floating around here somewhere.
We are going to attempt "The Christmas Photo" this weekend. Hopefully the rain won’t wash away what is left of the fall foliage before we get a chance to shoot on Saturday.
I am looking forward to working with Jessica and her fiance next weekend for an engagement session!
Happy Almost Friday!

Vote!

Russ and I went this afternoon to vote. In and out in less than five minutes. So relieved. I just knew we would have to wait for hours.
Drew is happy to wear the sticker. We thought about taking him back to let him vote as well. He has a baby-photo-id……so he should be good to go.

Drew Swings….
October 21, 2008
We spent a lovely afternoon in the backyard today. I love that the leaves are finally changing!
Here is Drew in mid-kick. One of the ways I can get my boys to smile for me (even with that blasted pacifier) is to get in front of them while they swing and let them try to kick me!
I know. Probably not the safest idea for my camera, but I get really great “moving target” practice!
Note: Don’t be alarmed, the bearded creature behind Drew is only his daddy.

As a mom, I am ashamed to admit that there is only one (1) completed photo album in my house. It’s a photo album that represents roughly the first few months of Ryan’s life.
Ryan will be five (5!) in September.
The album sits on a small round table between two chairs in our living room, where Baby Drew sits down every single day and thoughtfully turns the pages. He loves looking at the photos, probably because he thinks that he is the baby on all of the pages.
I know.
Thank goodness Drew looks exactly like Ryan did when he was a baby, or else he might wonder why his momma is so slack.
It’s not that I don’t HAVE pictures. It’s just that I don’t PRINT pictures.
Now that I am trying to get our photographic history in order via Adobe’s Lightroom, I thought I would take this time to start documenting our lives outside of the computer. I am slowly working my way through 2008 and then once I am caught up, I will work my way back.
What I am loving the most is finding photos that I had forgotten about.
Here we have Drew and Abigail sharing a close moment.
I thought about calling it Toddler Footsie.
