Happy Birthday, Drew!

Drew is three today! We went to the fall festival at Brooks last night and had a great time. Then today we rented a golf cart in Peachtree City and went exploring with Russ’ parents and hiking around Line Creek. Drew is now napping and I feel as if I should be doing the same thing! Looking forward to Uncle Bob’s tomorrow!

First Days, Birthdays and Deadlines

Drew started pre-school. Ryan turned six. Seniors are filtering in and out of the (new!) studio for yearbook pictures and we are loving every second of it! To say that it has been crazy would be an understatement. I keep telling myself if I can just make it to the Sept 30th deadline for Northgate, I will be ok…I will be ok…I will be ok…I will be ok…
Ha!
I am woefully behind on sneak peeks over here on the blog, but if you are on Facebook with me, then you are up to speed. I am determined to get everyone posted soon–maybe another slideshow is in order? I just have to make it to the deadline….and then I will be ok. 
Even though it was cloudy and slightly rainy…we had bikes and friends and cupcakes today in honor of Ryan turning SIX. Here are just a few snaps…

She is turning Two…

And we are celebrating tomorrow!
Sweet Abigail. She is my favorite model, just don’t tell Ryan or Drew. I’m not just saying that because I am her aunt, (the coolest aunt ever!) just look at her…..adorable, even WITH the shiner above her eye right there–sustained moments before in a picnic table incident. We are not quite sure what happened, but we are certain it was the fault of the picnic table.
Named after our mom, Abigail is not only one of the biggest blessings in my brother’s life, but in mine as well. I know that mom would be so proud of her grandchildren…and maybe even us a little bit too.
Happy Birthday Abigail–don’t grow up too fast.

One more birthday…

Since my birthday is today, Ryan and I decided to celebrate our days together yesterday at Place to Play. Ryan likes to take the entire week to celebrate, which is just his crafty way of getting more cake.
I was coerced by Karlee and Bailey into putting on a pair of Ryan’s soccer socks and crawling through all three levels of that place.
Five times.
I am completely wrecked today and it hurts just to type this entry.
Here is the evidence.
I will spare you the actual photo of me going airborn on the middle hump half-way down.

From fireworks Friday night to birthday cookie cake and tutu’s on Sunday!
Abigail was the only party-goer that actually wore a tutu, although her momma did manage to get one on Drew for about a second or two!
We had so much fun this weekend. I think I took around 1000 pictures. It will take me some time to process them all….and of course I will post my favorites soon.
It’s the calm before fall sports season starts, so I have plenty of time to play around with my camera and learn some new software!
