Ryan’s Turn

We have a baby pool on our back deck for those days when we happen to not be at the pool in our neighborhood. Drew fits in it quite nicely, but when Ryan get’s in with him, it’s a tad tight.
Both boys are used to having a lens aimed at them at least once or thirty times a day, but sometimes they try to hide. Which is exactly what Ryan was trying to do when I got this picture.
Ryan didn’t realize that his momma would lay down on the deck beside the baby pool so that she could surprise him when he popped his head out from under the water.
Anything to get the picture.

Fear Factor!

Fear Factor celebrated the end of their championship winning season last night.
Which meant that I celebrated finishing their season highlight show! Between this one and Wildcats, I can sing every single lyric to Hannah Montana’s Rockstar, True Friend, and Nobody’s Perfect.
With the Met’s show starting tomorrow, I will be adding the Jonas Brothers to my repertoire.
Fear Factor had a great season and I appreciate that I was able to be a part of it.

Luau!

Drew and Ryan enjoying the sand at the annual Newnan Utilities Luau on Friday night.
We had a great time, even when it rained! It was so hot, by the end of the night we didn’t even try to run for cover, we just stood in the rain. The kids loved it.
The band was so good, that even Drew lasted until almost 10:00—thanks to well-placed Luau t-shirt that doubled as a pillow on Russ’ shoulder. Thanks, Ron!

In all fairness, I did tell him he could do whatever he wanted to do….as long as he was outside.
If only it was a book he was holding instead of a dvd player…..
