Jessie–Senior Rep

Jessie–Senior Rep

Just one, er two.  Two little pics because I am still going through the tons of images we shot last night.  I could post a picture of the moon too, because we shot until it got DARK.  Like, “I can’t take this picture because there is seriously NO light” kind of dark.

To say Jessie was FUN and up for anything is an understatement.   From her beautiful red hair to her awesome green toenails, it has been tough choosing just a few to post.  My senior reps have been awesome!  I haven’t even finished editing the ones of her IN the pond surrounded by lily pads.  Thank goodness for the last minute snagging of the hip wader boots.  🙂

I promised I would post one today, so here is a small one.  I promise to post some lily pad shots later this weekend.

It’s a busy day!

Happy Weekend!

Welcome to my Blogsite

It’s my Blog and my Site.  It’s BOTH.  Galleries, Pricing, Blog and Information….all rolled up into one site.

Be sure to update your links from to  🙂

I am still moving things in today, so if you are trying to log in to your client gallery, everything should be back to normal by this evening.  If you have any problems at all, please feel free to call or email me and I will get things straightened out.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog(site).  I am now scheduling in August with a couple of spots still open in July.  I am still rounding out my portfolio and offering special pricing.  Please contact me for details!

Posts without images are sad.  Here is Cy strolling through the fields in his pajama’s at a recent Senior shoot I did at his home.  Cy has an amazing sense of style.  🙂  He is going to be turning two soon!

Checking out new locations…

Is so much fun! Here is Ryan giving me his most enthusiastic pose today as we discovered a pretty grassy area in the neighborhood.

He looks so happy!

Finally Home…

I wanted to come back and post beach photos…but I am still trying to get caught up on everything and I have too many favorites to edit….sooooo they will have to wait. 🙂

We had a nice time at the beach last week. Ryan and Drew are still finding sand in most everything that came home with us. I am recovering from the brutal sunburn I sustained THE FIRST DAY there. I hardly EVER burn, but I went with an aerosal can of sunscreen this year and let me tell you, it is not a good idea to try and apply that stuff while standing on a windy beach. The only protection on my skin was the thin line where the aerosal actually made contact with my skin. The rest was toast.

Burnt toast.

So now we are back and almost back to our normal schedule. I am looking forward to my seniors that are coming up over the next few weeks. I am looking forward the fourth of July celebrations that are right around the corner. I am excited to have a Mommy’s Helper that will be coming over a few days a week so that I can edit and work during the daytime hours instead of into the wee hours of the night. There are lots of good things going on right now and I am so thankful for each and every one.

The only thing I am even remotely bummed about is that the cutie below has moved a bit further away and will not be just down the road from me anymore. Her parents are closing on the sale of their house (fingers crossed) this Friday and they will continue to beautify their new digs about 25 miles away. Even though the new house is awesome and HUGE and I could totally fit a fabulous photography studio in their basement…I will miss having them so close.

Eric and miss Abigail stopped by today so that Drew could terrorize her for a couple of hours. Here is a moment between the tears.

Slip and Slide–Heading to the Beach

This was how we spent yesterday afternoon. There is something about a baby pool and a slip and slide other than torn ligaments and muscle strains…at least to a two-year-old daredevil and his older brother.

Addie and Bailey were roped into the festivities as well. I think they had just a little bit of fun. 🙂

I needed all the help I could get just keeping Drew’s swimsuit from falling down.

We are heading to the beach today, so I will be away from the blog and from sneak peeks for a few days. I should be back on track by the end of the week. I will be reachable via email if anyone needs anything or has questions about upcoming sessions.

Have a great week!

Uploading their gallery tonight…

Dear Mary and Pete,

It looks like you guys had an amazing time on your honeymoon. Thanks so much for sharing your photos….they were great! Ya know, for just five more dollars I would have GLADLY packed up my camera and gone to Hawaii with you to document your trip!

I would gladly be a full-time wedding photographer if every client was as much fun to work with as you were. Thanks again for letting me be a part of your amazing day!

I have been trying to photograph this family for awhile now. For some reason, rain clouds would always seem to appear on the day that we had planned to meet. Today was no exception. Thankfully there was only a small amount of rain, just enough to make things really nice and muggy outside. 🙂

Jim and Julie have the nicest backyard! I fully intend to go back and take pictures of the house-sized butterfly bushes so that I can show MY side little guy how big he is SUPPOSED to get!

I entertained the thought of posting a few pictures of Jim from when we went to high school together, but I think he could probably have me arrested or something, so instead I will just post a few of my favorites from this evening!

Talk to you guys soon!

Summer Begins…

Ryan was actually out a week BEFORE the rest of Coweta County was done with school for the summer…so that is an extra seven days of “What are we gonna do TODAY, mom?”

But between our neighborhood’s Backyard Bible Club, (Vacation Bible School for us older folks out there!) trips to the pool and serious games of kickball every afternoon, I think we will survive this summer.

Or at least the first three weeks of it.

I am excited to say that I am booked through the end of June and even into part of July, so if you are thinking about scheduling a session and have a specific date in mind it never hurts to plan ahead. About three to four weeks exactly. 🙂

I hope that everyone else is having a great start to their summer too. There will be some changes coming soon to the website, so if things look a little crazy in the next week or two, please excuse the work in progress.

And because posts without photos are sad…I give you my Kickball King….Base Stealer Extraordinaire.
