Heather~Class of 2010 NGHS
July 29, 2009
To say that we laughed during this session would be an understatement. Heather and her mom had me laughing the entire time. Usuallly it’s my amazing wit and sense of humor that shines during a session (I’m joking!) but Heather and Tammy outdid me at this one. Heather tried to pretend she was nervous, but she did a great job and I LOVED her cowboy boots!!! I am putting her in my Senior What to Wear guide for sure!
Some faves from the session…

James–Newnan High School Senior Rep
July 23, 2009
James wasn’t too thrilled to spend a couple of hours with me and my camera the other night, but by the end of the session I could tell that it wouldn’t be long before we were best friends! Ok, that last part isn’t entirely true, but I did manage to get him to laugh a few times…AND he played Crazy Train on the saxaphone, which is beyond cool. Oh yeah, and when I told him to give me some Zoolander, he totally rocked it! Ha! I will have to post a side-by-side comparison of his model face and Ben Stiller’s model face from the movie later….

Senior Albums
July 16, 2009
Since my senior session was “rained out” this evening, by the rain that never materialized, despite a radar that was positively SCREAMING “RAIN!”–I decided to start laying out pages for my custom senior album. This is a hardcover bound book with images from your session that is available in
10×10 or 5×5. We can customize it with quotes, scripture or anything else you like.
P.S. Ordered albums DO NOT contain my watermark!

Devon~Class of 2010
July 14, 2009
Yesterday’s early rain ended up creating conditions that made it feel like we were shooting in an oven. It was so muggy (it IS a real word, I looked it up!) and sticky outside, but Devon was a good sport, even though I kept suggesting she jump, twirl, contort and squat….all on a recently injured knee.
I am having so much fun with seniors this season and this session was no exception. Here are a few of my favorites…

GREAT work, you must have a good camera!

Yup, I sure do. It comes loaded with the ability to stay up all hours of the night studying the trifecta of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO so that I don’t have to! All I have to do is point my camera in the general vicinity of my subject and press the button. Easy peasy!
(Please note, that this ONLY funny because my dad is one leaving the comment!)

Please stand by….
July 11, 2009
There were a couple of server changes that took me by surprise this weekend. Things may look a little funny for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday, but then they should be back to normal. If you have any questions at all, just let me know!
In the meantime, here’s Abigail. Look how cute she is! Now all of my problems seem so small…..

Happy 4th of July!
July 5, 2009
Every year we are fortunate to have some pretty great friends in our neighborhood who don’t find it the least bit stressful to have 100 or so of their friends, neighbors, strangers and whatnot, converge at their residences to celebrate the Red, White, and Blue.
They go all out, from a fireworks show just for the kids (complete with Parachute Men!) to tons of decorations and goody bags for the little ones. When it’s time for the show, you can grab a great seat on the lawn or in one of the many pontoon boats anchored behind the house.
I wasn’t sure if Ryan and Drew were going to make it to Party Time or not since their day had been spent shopping with us and then swimming….but we decided to chance it and head over. As usual, the Wheats and Matthews outdid themselves and the show was great.
Drew fell asleep right at the end, sitting next to the speaker that was the size of my Odyssey in the middle of Sweet Home Alabama.
Thanks again guys, we had a great time!

Senior Rep~Jessie… Part Two
July 3, 2009
I got to meet Jessie again the other night for a session at the lake. We were going for a sunset session, but the clouds and sun didn’t do quite what we wanted them to. No matter, we had fun anyway.
As expected, Jessie was beside the lake and IN the lake. She would have probably gone swimming in her pretty dress shown here, but we managed to keep her from diving in. This time.
Thanks for braving the goose droppings!
Here are some of my faves.
