Happy Birthday, Drew!
October 24, 2009
Drew is three today! We went to the fall festival at Brooks last night and had a great time. Then today we rented a golf cart in Peachtree City and went exploring with Russ’ parents and hiking around Line Creek. Drew is now napping and I feel as if I should be doing the same thing! Looking forward to Uncle Bob’s tomorrow!
Juliann~Newnan High Class of 2010
October 23, 2009
This was by far the coldest session I have ever done! I woke up that morning and laughed at the thought of digging out my shooting gloves for Juliann’s senior session later that day. My high end “shooting gloves” are nothing more than a stash of colorful Target knit gloves. I probably even have a pair or twelve from the Dollar store. The trick is to have a knotted up pair strategically placed in camera bags, jacket pockets, the glovebox in each car, extra accessory bags….so that when you find yourself shooting on a crisp winter day you will have a fighting chance of retaining the feeling in your hands. I can’t wear these gloves anywhere else because I have snipped the finger tips off the ends of the gloves that house my shutter finger and dial spinning finger.
Anywho, to make a long and stange story longer, I left them at home and then found myself wishing I had those suckers after about 15 minutes of frigid wind gusts. Juliann was a trooper and never complained…and you can hardly see her tears in any of the photos.
I am looking forward to meeting her again very soon!

Fall!
October 9, 2009
Sort of! It was so cool outside for a few days and then today was like HOT! Of course it didn’t deter Drew from playing in the leaves. His favorite thing to do is chase the falling leaves and try to catch them. I love it. Ryan is content to tear through the leaves on his little motorcycle…of course.
I have had a couple of fun sessions with some babies this week! I am working on them now and can’t wait to post them. It definitely requires shifting gears a little from what I am used to with seniors, but I have to say that I am really enjoying it so far. Will post a couple of sneak peeks for the mommas tomorrow!
